Desperados is a premium beer which is available in two flavours in St. Lucia. Desperados Original is a gold coloured and full bodied lager beer with a unique tequila flavour.
Desperados Red is a light, pinkish red to pink colour with a pretty thick looking, foamy white head that reflects the pink colour of the drink.

The aroma is very sweet, some citrus and touches of lemon along with lots of red berries. All in all the aroma is very summery and refreshing. Desperados tastes sweet with some distinct sugar, and some grenadine flavour with bit of spice and a touch of citrus on top of all that.

The texture is smooth and sweet. The body is light but not quite thin and there is moderate to strong carbonation without the usual gas. This beer can be categorized somewhere between a pale lager and a fruit beer.
